Do you accept insurance for Medical Services?

We accept all major insurances for the medical services we provide.

As an independent privately owned medical practice, we are a fully credentialed PCP clinic with all major insurances as shown below. If you are covered with any of the insurance plans as shown below, you can look us up by the name Asher Health and Wellness PLLC or can look our practitioners by name in the provider directory.

We will always work with you in advance to ensure your care with us is affordable and all your services are reviewed and covered to avoid any unexpected charges. If you have any questions of insurance coverage, please call our office at 724 276 5888.

Do you accept insurance for the Wellness Program offerings?

No, insurance isn’t accepted for the Wellness Program offerings. Fees can be paid by credit card, personal check, or Health Savings Account (HSA) card.

Are You Affiliated With Any Major Organization?

We are a private physician owned medical practice. We do not have any direct affiliation with a major hospital-based system, but we closely collaborate with all specialties within major health systems in our region to ensure our patients receive the best coordinated care.

How Do You Communicate And Share Information With My Other Specialist Providers?

As a new integrated health center, care coordination is a very important aspect of our approach to good health. We strive to coordinate care with neighborhood practices by direct practice-to-practice communication with individual providers and office managers.

Once you are our patient and provide us the consent to share and receive medical information in a HIPPA compliant manner, our office will connect with all your specialists and other medical providers via E-fax, electronic medical records [EMRs], phone calls etc. to be sure that data is appropriately shared and communicated to ensure efficient and well-coordinated care.

Do You Have Hospital Privileges?

Dr Asher is on medical staff at UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside and Excela Westmoreland Hospital. Kelly Lee CRNP is on staff at Butler Memorial Hospital.

We are currently in the process of accomplishing medical staff privileges at our neighborhood hospitals including AHN Wexford and UPMC Passavant for all our office providers.

Do You Provide Inpatient Medical Care?

We do not provide any current inpatient coverage for Aspirational Health patients who are admitted to the hospital for a medical condition or surgical procedure. Our patients will be covered by medical staff that provide inpatient services at local hospitals. However, being on medical staff allows us to closely communicate with hospital providers and we will provide follow up office care immediately after hospital discharge.

Can I Be Your Patient If I Do Not Have Medical Insurance?

It is very important for us to always provide you with appropriate medical care at our facility when you seek our services. We will provide you with our self-pay fee schedule of services to review in advance and you can pay us directly by debit card or credit card. If you need financial assistance, our office will closely work with you to best meet your needs.

Wellness Program Fees

Aspirational Wellness Plan: $100 / Month ( 6 Month Plan )

$100 Per Month; 6-Month Plan: Aspirational Wellness Plan

Our Six-month personalized plan focused on your unique health and wellness goals through consistency, empowerment, accountability, and value.

  • Two (2) 60-minute private sessions per month with certified wellness practitioners:
  • Choice of Physical Fitness or Yoga Class, Reiki Therapy, or Yoga Therapy
  • Coaching between sessions (including weekly check-ins, journaling, goal-monitoring)

Terms & Conditions:

  • Fees are due before or at the time of service and are subject to change. They can be paid by credit card, personal check, or Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Please provide a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, if possible.
  • No roll-overs from month to month, unless necessary for emergency reasons
  • No transferring the Plan to other clients
  • No Plan refunds/cancellations
  • No prorating (no “discounts” for the month if services aren’t utilized)
  • Please book sessions at least 1 week in advance to help ensure wellness provider availability
  • 24-hour notice to cancel sessions, please
  • Responsibility for meeting goals and creating change is with the client
