Join Julie, Hailey, and Kile from the Aspirational Health Wellness team and guest yoga instructor and artist, Melanie, for a short and gentle yoga practice followed by a guided meditation. Once you are in relaxation mode, you’ll spend the remainder of the time creating your own masterpiece! Materials and instruction will be provided. You just need to come with an open mind and see where the night takes you!
Why painting and mind-body practices? Painting allows for emotional release because it stimulates the creative side of your mind and focuses your attention in one place. In this way, the creative outlet may lower feelings of stress and enhance your sense of overall well-being. When blending mind-body practices like yoga and meditation with art, you clear the space for artistic expression—making room for expansion, acceptance, creativity, and growth.
